HESAC COVID19
In 2020 and into 2021 due to the impacts of COVID-19, the electricity industry through National HESAC formed a sub-committee which was set up to discuss issues relating to COVID on a fortnightly basis. Through this group a series of joint industry statements were produced to demonstrate collective and collaborative working across the sector to tackle the issues relating to the global pandemic in occupational setting to ensure the effects to the electricity industry were minimalised.
